5 Week old Maremma lgd puppies for sale:

I can’t believe how quickly time is flying by. The Maremma lgd puppies are already 5 weeks old! They are more adorable than I can say. Each day I see them venturing out further and further into the paddocks. They are bold and literally unafraid of the alpacas even though the alpacas tower over them. I watched one Maremma pup chasing a female alpaca, she obviously was only walking, and when he caught up to her would swat at her leg with his little paw. The Maremma pup didn’t hurt her but it did make my female move out of the way and start the chase all over again. Thank goodness my alpacas are used to me having litters and pay little attention to the puppies.

Chores take a little longer these days. Having 10 Maremma lgd pups who pile up at your feet to say hello and rub  my belly is a little much. Of course I can’t resist them so down I go to give them all a little loving.

The Maremma lgd pups will be ready to go to their new homes on or after January 10, 2012. The cost per pup is $850. The price includes the first shot, first de-wormer, micro-chip, and registration paperwork. I currently have six Maremma lgd puppies for sale.

I live outside of Atlanta so flying them out by Delta Air Cargo is no problem. The new owner is responsible for shipping, kennel cost, and vet health certificate to fly.

The Maremma lgd puppies are going fast. If you are needing an lgd puppy contact me at info@desertmtnalpacas.com. I would be happy to answer any questions.

DMAR has Maremma ldg puppies all across the United States and into Puerto Rico. The Maremma lgd pups are guarding alpacas, sheep, chickens, goats, and horses. They will guard any livestock.

Tom and Janice invited my daughter and I to their farm for New Year’s dinner yesterday and we had a fabulous time during the visit.  We also re-visited their 10 Maremma puppies and they have grown so active, healthy and ever so adorable.  We have had the joy of seeing them grow since they were about a week old.  Gianna, their mom, is training them in “doggie manners”, and doing a wonderful job!  My daughter has bought one female Maremma for our ”soon to be” Alpaca farm
(Shadwell Alpaca Farm) in Monroe and has named her dog Adelina.  She will be soon purchasing a male before all the dogs are sold!  They are going fast…I think that more farmers are realizing the value of Maremma LGD.  There is a wonderful article on the subject in the recent issue of Hobby Farms magazine.  The article particularly praises the Maremma LGD.
